I was in London in 1998 with my wife for our honeymoon. While having a drink in a cafe, I found some coins which I think somebody must have dropped on the chair I was sitting on. I pocketed the coins. As we left the cafe, there was this teenage girl asking for donations (in exchange for a stalk of flower), I dug into my pocket and gave her a couple of coins which I picked up earlier in the cafe. She asked for more, and I asked her how much. She said £2, and I dug into my pocket again and I almost couldn't believe it when I found I had exactly £2 in my pocket!
